IMPORTANT UPDATE: The Group I phase of the NMPA Late Fee Program is now closed. The Program Administrator has issued Group I payments for Assigned Shares, resolved Contested shares, and a portion of the Program reserves, and commenced additional distributions of P&U Royalties under Section 4.22 of the MOU.

Information For Group I Participating Publishers
All music publishers who submitted a valid Late Fee Registration Form and Opt-In Enrollment Form, became a Participating Publisher with respect to the distribution program for “Group I Product” (product released in the years 2006 and prior) and “Group II Product” (product released in the years 2007 and 2008). Administration costs, legal fees and the NMPA’s assessments were recouped before publisher shares were determined and distribution commenced. Publishers who participated in the Group I Distribution Process are automatically Opted-In to Group II. However, Group I Participating Publishers must have completed, signed and returned the Group II Confirmation Form so that it was received no later than December 15, 2010.
